Christmas time
When everyone thinks about Christmas usually the first things you think of is gifts, family, family parties, etc. For me personally, this Christmas was different from years before yet similar at the same time. Let me explain, this past Christmas, I truly felt that it us so much better to give than receive. I was able to buy presents for my family, sister, brother, parents, niece and nephews, little cousins, etc. and seeing their faces, especially the little ones, when they opened up their gifts was priceless. So I guess in that sense it was different, because I never really had a chance to buy presents, or get good presents for those around me and this year I was blessed to the point where I could. This year was different too because I wasn’t able to spend it with another loved one but was again blessed enough to spend a weekend with her earlier this month and we got to spend a short but nice time together. I also say that this year was similar because in years past, I was so used to spending Christmas time with my WHOLE family, or damn near, cousins, uncles, aunties, etc. This year was cool because my parents were out here, it was Kaia’s first Christmas, my brother flies in today, was with cousins, uncles and aunties. Felt like Christmas time back when I grew up and we spent every Holiday at my Mamacita’s place. Family means the world to me and getting the chance to spend the holidays with them was truly the best gift I could have gotten…and I actually got some dope ones this year but thats besides the point, lol.
